The Park
The centerpiece of this spectacular community is the 900-acre FootHills Park. It makes up half of the entire community and is the largest privately donated park to a municipality in the history of B.C. It’s only slightly smaller than
Vancouver’s Stanley Park. Miles of trails traverse the park’s canyons, meadows, forest glades, mountains and wildlife corridors. They circle wetlands and lead to breathtaking overlooks. You’ll find countless ways to explore FootHills Park.
- Go horseback riding or biking on the trails.

- See a 15-foot waterfall or go rock climbing.
- Watch for bald eagles, deer and other wildlife.
